The Snapper (1993) charming Irish comedy
Little Voice (1998) Jane Horrocks imitations of singers like Judy Garland is jaw dropping
The Pusher trilogy, especially Pusher II (2004) Mads Mikkelsen is terrific as always, believable and sympathetic - which is a feat given his character arc.
Flickering Lights (2000) an absurd farcical comedy with a loving heart. The arguments between the characters is hysterical
Men and Chicken (2015) one of the most bizarre plots ever - strange as hell, WTF funny and feel good in its odd way
Together (2000) 1970s Swedish commune life. As wacky as you'd expect. Sharp satirizing of political ideas and adult self delusion gone off the rails and how such shenanigans affect the kids. Hysterically funny, wise and loving, with a satisfying ending.
Four Lions (2010) black comedy about aspiring terrorists. Yep - and it works. Writer/director Chris Morris did a lot of research, evidenced by the razor sharp satire and attention to detail. Cast is all great, Riz Ahmed is terrific.
