Lisa Mishra’s journey from Berhampur, Odisha, to Chicago and beyond is truly inspiring. A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where she majored in economics and religion, Lisa’s curiosity about the world has always been a driving force in her life. But it was her deep passion for music that ultimately shaped her path.

At just 13 years old, Lisa launched her YouTube channel, sharing her musical talent with the world. In 2017, she took a major step forward by collaborating with Jamila Woods on the catchy theme song for the Emmy-nominated web series *Brown Girls*. The next year, her mesmerizing mashup of the Hindi song *Tareefan* and *Let Me Love You* caught the attention of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, leading to an unforgettable trip to India. There, she recorded a reprise of *Tareefan* for the hit film *Veere Di Wedding*, working alongside Bollywood's finest.

Since then, Lisa has continued to make waves with her music, contributing to songs like *The Wakhra Song* from *Judgementall Hai Kya* (2019), *Nadaaniyaan* from *The Sky Is Pink* (2019), and the chart-topping party anthem *Chandigarh Mein* from *Good Newwz* (2019).
