Animal Park: Ranbir Kapoor's Film Gets A Production Date, Set To Release In 2027
The success of *Animal* in 2023 has set the stage for a highly anticipated sequel, *Animal Park*, with a cliffhanger that left fans eager for more. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who has promised that the sequel will be "darker and meaner," is already generating excitement by confirming that filming will begin sooner than expected. While Vanga had previously suggested a 2026 start for the film, producer Bhushan Kumar has now revealed that production will start within the next six months, following Vanga's work on his Telugu project *Spirit* with Prabhas.
Ranbir Kapoor, who is set to reprise his role in the sequel, has shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating that Vanga had already shown him some scenes that have left him excited for what’s to come. Notably, *Animal Park* will feature Ranbir in a double role, something teased through a gory sequence in the original film's announcement. Along with Ranbir, the cast will also see Triptii Dimri, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Mansi Taxak reprise their roles.
In addition to *Animal Park*, Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming projects are also creating a lot of buzz. He is currently working on *Ramayan*, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, where he will play Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi will portray Sita. The film will be released in two parts.
