Godzilla Final Wars (Ryuhei Kitamura - 2004)

A cosmic dud, the most ridiculous flop of the year, edited in the most chaotic way possible, ugly as can be (I get the idea of making it look cheap to seem old-school, but Kitamura chooses to mix Bay-style cinematography with blatantly obvious models... the result is dismal, dull, hideous…), silly (ultra-clumsy humor, reminiscent of Besson’s style), disjointed, and barely fun during its relatively rare demolition scenes.
Because yes, instead of making the most of the creatures, Kitamura gets lost in a dreadfully dull and tiresome plot involving aliens with unclear malevolent intentions...
In the end, it's a low-grade mess that’s not funny enough by accident and far too irritating to be considered cult. And it lasts 2 hours and 4 minutes. A disaster.
An absolute 0/6.
