Hrithik Roshan (born 10 January 1974) is a well-known Indian actor, recognized for his versatile roles and exceptional dancing abilities. One of the highest-paid actors in India, he has earned numerous accolades, including six Filmfare Awards, four of which were for Best Actor. Roshan has been featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 multiple times since 2012, based on his income and popularity.

He began his career in the 1980s with brief appearances as a child actor and worked as an assistant director for several of his father, Rakesh Roshan's films. His breakthrough came with the 2000 film *Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai*, which was a commercial success and earned him multiple awards. His reputation was further solidified with roles in *Fiza* (2000) and *Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...* (2001), although he faced a string of less successful films afterward.

A turning point in his career came with the 2003 science fiction film *Koi... Mil Gaya*, where he portrayed a developmentally delayed man, winning two Filmfare Awards. This role led to further success in the superhero franchise *Krrish* (2006) and its sequels. Roshan also gained acclaim for his performances in *Dhoom 2* (2006), where he played a thief, *Jodhaa Akbar* (2008) as the Mughal emperor, and *Guzaarish* (2010), where he portrayed a quadriplegic man.

His later works, including the comedy-drama *Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara* (2011), the revenge drama *Agneepath* (2012), and the biopic *Super 30* (2019), added to his commercial success. Roshan starred in major action films like *Bang Bang!* (2014), *War* (2019), and *Fighter* (2024), further cementing his place as a leading actor in Bollywood.

In addition to acting, Roshan has performed on stage and appeared as a judge on the dance reality show *Just Dance* (2011), becoming one of the highest-paid film stars on Indian television at the time. He is also involved in various humanitarian causes, endorses several brands, and launched his own clothing line. He was married to Sussanne Khan for fourteen years and they have two children.
