Patralekhaa recently spoke with *Filmfare* about her latest project, *IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack*, her marriage to Rajkummar Rao, and more. **Congratulations on completing 10 years in the industry! Was acting always your calling?**
"Looking back, I never thought of doing anything else. My father wanted me to become a CA, but I didn’t follow that path. I started auditioning for ads, and one thing led to another."
**Were you a studious person back then?**
"I wasn't bad. I scored 85 percent."
**From *City Lights* to *IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack*, how has your approach to characters evolved over the years?**
"A lot has changed, especially as you grow as a person. Life teaches you so much, and there's a clear difference between the 24-year-old who started out and the woman I am now. Acting is deeply personal; you draw from your own life experiences—your highs and lows."
